David Greenky, MD, FAAP – Dr. Greenky is a pediatric emergency medicine physician at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and an Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Medicine where he is an expert in global pediatric preparedness. At Emory he is the principal investigator for the Gulf 7-Pediatric Disaster Network and a co-investigator for the Regional Emerging Special Pathogen Treatment Centers. He has conducted multidisciplinary preparedness research collaborating with colleagues from infectious disease, adult emergency medicine, and the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and completed international work in Tanzania, Israel, and Japan. He is chair of the Communications Subcommittee for American Academy of Pediatrics’ Council on Children and Disasters and has spent time working at the Children’s Preparedness Unit at the United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Prior to his medical career he was a research analyst at a company dealing with global resiliency.
